Theresa Frid-Lowndes: Director for preschool
Theresa has been the director and teacher at Little Green Apple since 1995.  She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies.  Her experience includes teaching art classes, working in a Montessori classroom, and working in a Head Start classroom as well as volunteering in the community with various family and child related projects that advocate for child welfare.  Theresa has three daughters and has lived in the Portland area since 1986, when she moved here from Sweden.


Gita Pastala: Team Teacher for 4's classes
Gita has been at Little Green Apple since 2015. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience, an undergraduate degrees with mathematics with a focus on eduction, and a graduate course work at Johns Hopkins University in School Counseling. Both of Gita's children attended little green apple preschool as little kids and this inspired her to teach preschoolers.

Amy Bak: Team Teacher for 4's classes
Amy has been at Little Green Apple since 2017. She joined us more than 10 years of preschool and administrator experience. Amy graduated from Bringham Young University. Amy has spent time volunteering for Beaverton School District teaching art literacy, and volunteering for many other children related organizations. Two of Amy's children attended Little Green Apple Preschool.


Margaret Larson: Head Teacher of 3's class
Margaret has been at Little Green Apple since 1999.  Margaret has a teaching degree in Elementary Education and has taught in the Portland School District.  She has four grown children, two sons and two daughters. 

Jolene Williams: Assistant Teacher for 3's class
Jolene has been at Little Green Apple since 2006.  She has 15 years of experience of working with children in childcare settings, including running an after-school care program for kids at Skyline Elementary School.  Jolene has two daughters.
